Follow the guide below to familiarize yourself with the app and full advantage of the range of features that Fitaide offers.

Information on your height, weight, gender and age is required for the app to function.
Go to ‘Setup > My Profile’ and enter the data.

The assessment requires that you walk or run for 6.30 minutes following the audio cues and
enter your heart rate on completion.
Assessing your fitness customizes the app to your current ability and unlocks the fitness planning feature of the app.
1.Go to ‘Plan > Manage’ and make Fitness Assessment your default plan
(select fitness assessment and press ‘

2.Go to ‘Track’ and fitness assessment should show as your plan for the session. Press ‘Start Session’ when you are ready to go.
Repeat the assessment every 4-6 weeks. If you have been sedentary so far you could see an improvement in your fitness level within a few weeks of regular activity and unlock all features within the application.Your fitness level and calorie burn.This is necessary for the app to function.
First, Make Fitness Assessment your default Plan Go to Plan > Manage, select ‘Fitness Assessment’ and press the check mark below.
Next, Start the Fitness Assessment
Go to Track, it will display the plan to follow. Press ‘Start Session’ when you are ready to go.
Your new fitness level should now be visible in your Review Screen. Repeat the assessment whenever you feel your fitness has increased, this ensures that Fitaide stays customized to your ability.

Fitaide uses the in-built 3D Motion Sensor to capture your movement in 3 directions and applies scientifically
proven algorithms to estimate your calorie burn and exercise intensity as you move. Its validated for activity you do
on your feet.
Separate algorithms power the step counting and distance calculations. While most will find that these work fine, some will benefit from adjusting the Step Counter Sensitivity. To do this, go to ‘Setup > Settings’.

Ensure you do not press the screen lock button when tracking as that will stop the accelerometer, your fitness level
and calorie burn. This is necessary for the app to function.

For maximum accuracy when walking briskly or running secure this device to your arm or body
To maximise battery time, reduce your screen brightness. Go to the Setting App and click on Brightness, move the lever to the minimum.
You can easily set-up a weekly target to help you acheive your fitness goals. Choose between calories, distance, duration, steps or speed / pace as your target.
Go to ‘Review > Progress’ and click on the target box to set your weekly goal.
Fitaide makes it easy to generate customised plans to help you achieve your fitness goals. Goals supported include Couch to 5K or 10K and Weight Loss.

Scheduling your plan is also easy – just pick your preferred time and days and the app will auto-schedule it for you.
(Note: You can only schedule the default plan).
When your session becomes due, go to ‘Track’ and you will see details of the planned session.

As when you move Fitaide will track using the in-built accelerometer and guide you with audio cues to go faster or slower as required.
Struggling to find motivation to achieve your fitness goals? Here are a few ways to use Fitaide to find motivation:

Invite your friends to a challenge. Set-up a common goal, view progress on the leaderboard, post your status on FB or Twitter
You can also join public challenges that other users have already set-up. Go to ‘Connect > Challenges’.

Sign-up for an event or a charitable cause near you. Keep your supporters posted on your progress, invite others training for the same event. Go to ‘Connect > Events’.
The in-built fitness plans can help you achieve your Event training goals.
To update your event or challenge status, go to ‘Review > Sessions’ and the open session you wish to upload, then click on the ‘Upload’ button at the bottom.
